A security vulnerability has just been discovered in PUArcade.

The download available in the downloads area has been patched, so you can follow these steps to update your install:
1. Download the latest version from the downloads area.
2. Uninstall your current version
3. Install the new one you just downloaded.

Thats it! After doing that, you will be running on the patched version. You will not lose any scores or games in this process.

Alternatively, if you want to just apply the updated file, it is attached to this message. Simply place it in the following directory, overwriting the existing file: /components/com_puarcade

Please post here with any questions or concerns. Please do not post specific exploit code.

Some people have running older versions (2.1) running, is there this patsch working too?

Yeah, this is only a problem in 2.2.

I've updated SVN to include the patch, so if you update from SVN you will be OK.

But: I almost didn't got knowledge of this as I haven't been on your forum some days.

Could you possibly activate the rss function for your pragmaticutopia.com frontpage? That would be a perfect way for keeping everybody up to date - especially when having a security fix

I do have the rss feed activated for the forums, so if you plug that feed into your reader or google home page or anything, the update info would come up.

I'm using 2.2. But when registering use, this program say "you don't see this page or game" or same

what can i do?
