Hallo, i would like to install the component 2 times. So i am more flexable ..

I tried it by changing the tablenames in the scripts and renamed the newscore file. and the XML file .And it installed right.. I see 2 arcade components in the Backend but the 'changed component' one does only go the the main admin page.... So what am i overseeing .....

Or is it just not possible. It still has the same component name ...

Could be done, but would be a lot of work.

1. You'd have to create 2 seperate copies of the component. In one of them, edit the puarcade.xml file to change the name of the component itself (for example com_puarcade2) , the tables it uses, the folders it uses, etc.

2. Search and replace throughout all the php files to change the names of the database tables that get used, as well as any references to the name of the component.

3. After you've made all those changes, rezip up all the files and install it.
