By the way, for people who like the points go to AlphaUsersPoints.
With my configuration, j1.5.7, puarcade 2.3 and the AlphaUserPoints the contestmodule shouted 10 times the same message in the AlphaUserPoints component...

It's about the message when someone wins the contest. The message that go to the AlphaUserPoints...

hmm ok I see?
Did Rosette also got 10 times the amount of points you set for winning the contest?

Are you sure you were nor editing the module parameters pressing apply many times just at the time the contest was over? it could be a reason. I'll double check

It must be something Im doing wrong I gues, because there are also no points in the list, see picture...
I made several changes in the parameters during contest, sorry for that

Ok as this module updates its own parameters by itself when contest is over, if you're editing it, it just redo the contest over actions which are giving medal, points and shouting...

So maybe that's what happen

To set a point amount, edit the AlphaUserPoints rules (and the one for contest of the month) from the Rules page and set how many AUP points you want to give to the winner and for every rules you use on your site.

where is the download link for this module? i have checked the community download the info is there but missing the file. all i see is the website link. do i grab it from there.

How do you get the award to show on the profile page after winning? I only show the archive of when they won, not what they won.

Okay another question. I have a game and the scores get high.

The score is 1845500

And the contest shows: 1.8455e+06

Any suggestions on how to fix?

I've found a mistake in your aup files.
In delault.php you call this function:

Code:
if ( $aupid )  AlphaUserPointsHelper::newpoints( 'plgaup_pua_contestofthemonth', $aupid );


But in your AUP Rule and the file itself you call:

<plugin_function>plgaup_pu_contestofthemonth</plugin_function>



I Think that's why it doens'nt work for me either.
One time:

plgaup_pu_contestofthemonth
and one time:

plgaup_pua_contestofthemonth

Actually I had noticed that error

But fixiing this didn't even make this AUp rule work for me...
I want to fix the whole aup rule thing in that module before posting the fix.

Does it work for you now?
