How hard is it to do a quiz game that has following;

Admin could change questions and answers.
Admin could set up how many questions there will be.
When a quiz is done a highscore should come up, best users of five or so.
Community builder ( CB ) avatar or links to profile with the best result.

No fancy graphics or icons or so.. just plain text.

Either a long page of tablepost and with radio buttons and when Send, you get the result and can only do it one time for example..

The thing is that PUArcade is so cool as its so integraded with Joomla and thats why I wanted a nice quiz form to play around with. And that an option could be to have an highscore and CB-connection would be awesome

That wouldn't be too hard. Something to think about!

Yeah, simplest is just make a post-send html code and after it the ID given is compared against the answers and you get on the highscorelist and get your score on your CB-profile..

I mean if you can get pacman and snake to run with the above CB and highscore on Joomla.. then what tha heck

That's not as easy as some might think. Imho the best way to do it, is:
1. Find a working quiz extension (as a component) which has a nice backend also;
2. Customize it, so after the quiz i done, the results also are written into puarcade table(s).

Yes there is at least one good Quiz-Component. I used to play around with it for a while and it really worked nice. Also it has Modules to offer for Latest Scores, Leaderboard and personal best Score (you see the Modules on the left Side at the Demo)! A lot of Settings are possible, such as Percentage to pass a Test, Timelimit, multiple Choice and so on...

Welll.. Tina123; I dont know what you have been doin the last past years; but there are Only One quiz for Joomla/component/extensions. And thats what you refered to; Joomla Quiz Deluxe; and that one is simple and just pale but thats not the downside as you could go in and modify it more css/html to suite your style.. the downside is the hefty 109$ for it..

So if you dont want to use the Joomla Quiz Deluxe; your out in the cold so to say. So maybe this forum could guide me to a smaller program or game that makes quizes in component style but I guess not

well did you have it installed on your Site and used it? Demo is made simple. There is much more about it. Cause this is really a great Component. You say this one is simple and pale, but you want a smaller Component that looks same or better chargefree?
