I've just posted an updated SVN installer to the subscriber downloads area. This version adds contests back in, along with a number of contest related bugfixes.

Yes I set up a halloween contest!
when scores are saved it says a new score is saved to contest, but I can't see where...
It's gona be huge Pragma thanks!
btw regarding svn
It looses template selection even a default one, always goning back to ocean... my fav is night
Anyway to keep the plugins when uninstalling?

Java scripted date selection for Calendars not working . So start and end dates can't be choosen via a calendar popup.Dates in the front end are still wrong also but correct in the backend.

I could use the javascript calendar just as it should with no problem and no error, very easy actually, only as said TInker , the date is ok in the backend but wrong in the frdont end (testing on j1.5)
edit:
sorry it works on front end here:
index.php?option=com_puarcade&arcade=contestdetail&contestid=3
but doesn't work here:
index.php?option=com_puarcade&arcade=contest
