MySQL server has gone away ? please help me 1 Month, 3 Weeks ago Karma: 0
hello.
Few days ago my hosting provider changeg his serwer. Old server was on 4.1.10-standard version and everything works fine...except big lags(thats why they changed all the machine), and now server version is 5.0.67.

My provider made all the things which was neccessary to install my site on their new server.

Now on new server sometimes i get a lot of errors on my site, which i supposed are connected with sql server error. In login area i can read that "MySQL server has gone away ..." so i supposed that mysql isn't working properly. Also i've got errors in others modules which we can see on screens. The most often error is: "Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()" ... in this line where this error is written is "foreach($games as $game)" . Please help me find the solution for this, because my hosting provider don't know how to solve this

Pack of screens:

3:

Any ideas ?

Definitely looks like they have some MySQL issues.

Those errors look like missing data. Use phpmyadmin to look at your database tables.
Does jos_puarcade, jos_puarcade_games, jos_puarcade_folders, etc exist?

databases tables aren't missing. The only one table which is empty is "jos_puarcade_gamedata".
Generally site works ok, so tables must be ok, but sometimes i have these errors.

It looks like those errors are coming from a module, not PUArcade itself. What modules do you have installed? Are they compatible with your version of Joomla?

well pragma, generally i don't think so......if the errors come from the modules then these errors will still be visible, but they aren't. I noticed that in the evenings these errors shows most.

We can see in which modulesthese errors come up, because the name of the module is written in the lines where the line of error is written.

Like i say generally it is:

foreach($games as $game)

My version of joomla is: Joomla! 1.0.13 Stable
Pauarcade: 2.2
CB: 1.1

Like i said on the beggining....everything works fine until my hosting provider changed the server and the mysql server from version 4 to 5...
