Symptoms: The arcade games appear to work properly, but when done playing the score is not saved. Resolutions: 1. Verify that you have the following files in your Joomla root directory, with the permissions indicated. If you do not, they can be copied there from /components/com_puarcade. You can use FTP or JoomlaXplore to do this. 2. Verify that the PUArcade system mambot (plugin) is installed and enabled. If it is not enabled/published, then do so using the standard Joomla tools. If it is not installed, you can install it manually using this link: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/content/view/208/105/. 3. If your site is offline, bring it online and test again. Sometimes scoring doesn't work if your site is set offline. 4. If you are using a SEF/SEO component, try disabling it, or excluding it from PUArcade and see if that has any effect. 5. Try some different games, from other locations. Do some work, while others don't? Post about it in the forums, with specific details. Be sure to include this information in your request: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/content/view/267/105/ 6. Is it an IBProArcade type game? Such as many Yeti games, etc? Check out this FAQ: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/content/view/180/105/ 7. Is the arcade system the game was written for supported by PUArcade? Here are the supported arcade systems: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/content/view/170/105/ 8. Did you rename the game? You can't do that. The title you can change, but not the name as it is hardcode inside the game itself. See more info here: http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/content/view/138/105/ 9. If you have an SMF bridge installed, follow the steps below to properly work around the issue. This should have no noticeable effects, and will allow both components to work properly. As of now, this is the only known workaround to get the two components to co-exist. If you do not have the SMF bridge installed, move on to step B below. - Log into your SMF administration console. Not your Joomla console.
- Under the configuration heading in the left hand column, select "Server Settings" as shown in the image below.

- Click the tab labeled "Feature Configuration", as shown in the image below.

- Clear the checkbox next to "Use database driven sessions" as shown in the image below.

- Click "Save" to save your settings
- Close your browser. Test everything.
If your trouble persists after following these steps, please make a post in the forum.
