Why don't any of my images show?
Friday, 19 January 2007

Symptom:  Many of your images don't show.

Cause:  Could be one of two issues -

  1.     A bad path caused by an error in the configuration
  2.     A bad download

Resolution:

  1. To address the potential for a path misconfiguration, go into your administration area
  2. From the top menu, select Administration, then Configuration
  3. For the configuration item labeled FQDN, make sure your entry starts with an HTTP and ends without a slash.  For example, for our demo install here, the FQDN entry would be http://www.pragmaticutopia.com/pult

  1. If your path looks good, you may have gotten a bad download.  I had a zip file hosted that had a path issue for a while, so you may have gotten it during that period.  Its a simple fix:
  2. FTP to your PULT directory
  3. Change to /includes/itemstats/icons directory
  4. If you have a subfolder called icons there, the full path to which would be /includes/itemstats/icons/icons, move it up one directory, so its contents are in /includes/itemstats/icons.
  5. After you complete the above, you should have many many icons loaded into the /includes/itemstats/icons directory, and no subfolders in it.
If you have any trouble, please submit a problem report.
